Confirming the Work Actually Worked
Post-remediation verification, also called clearance testing, is independent confirmation that a remediation job was successful before you move back in, list the property, or close out an insurance claim.
When It Is Required

What We Check
- Visual inspection: Verifies the remediated area is visibly clean and complete.
- Moisture readings: Confirms the moisture source has been corrected.
- Air sampling: Measures whether airborne spore levels have returned to normal.
- Comparison to the pre-remediation baseline: Confirms the remediation achieved the expected results.
Pass or Fail
You get a clear determination. If it fails, you get documentation of exactly why, which is what you need to make the contractor come back and finish the job correctly.
