What Is a Limited Mold Inspection?
A limited inspection focuses on one specific area of concern rather than the entire property. If you already know where the problem is, whether it’s a stain on a bathroom ceiling, a musty closet, or an area beneath a known leak, this is an efficient way to have it evaluated and confirmed.
When This Is the Right Choice
- You have one visible problem area and want it identified
- A leak was repaired and you want that spot verified
- You need documentation for a single room or unit
- Budget matters and the concern is clearly localized
What Is Included
- Visual inspection of the area of concern
- Temperature and humidity readings at and around the affected area
- Detailed, photo-rich report
- Samples are available based on recommendation
- ProLab certified lab analysis (If samples are collected)
- Remediation protocol available if mold is confirmed
When to Upgrade
If you smell mold but cannot find the source, or symptoms are present throughout the building, a Complete Mold Inspection is the better fit a limited inspection only tells you about the one area we look at.
